We are roughly 22–25 km (≈25–30 min) from Mananthavady town via the Thondernad route. Roads are paved & scenic with minimal traffic during early mornings.

TIP Plan arrival before dusk to enjoy the valley view at check‑in.

Wayanad district has no railway station. The convenient major stations are:

  • Kozhikode (Calicut) – ~95 km (≈2.5 hrs)
  • Kannur – ~82 km (≈2–2.25 hrs)
  • Mysuru (for guests from Karnataka) – ~165 km (≈4 hrs)

Pre‑book a cab for smoother hill approach, especially during monsoon months (June–August).

Board a KSRTC / private bus to Mananthavady (frequent from Kozhikode, Kannur, Mysuru). From Mananthavady:

  1. Take a local bus or shared jeep toward Thondernad.
  2. Request drop at the nearest junction (we share exact stop on booking).
  3. We can arrange a pickup (advance notice preferred).

Late evening arrivals: opt for a direct cab as rural connections reduce post 7:30 PM.
